Senior Orphans
Anytime - All Year
Senior Orphans is a local non-profit organization run by a local woman right here in Polk County. What it aims to do is help seniors who have, for one reason or another, found themselves without friends or family willing to assist them and with no valid means of supporting themselves in any meaningful way. It gives much needed support to those who find themselves destitute and alone in their senior years through charitable donations of the people in the local area.
America For Christ
Feb - March
The America for Christ Offering is the American Baptist response to the needs of home missions within and beyond the local congregation in witness and service for Christ as mandated by the Great Commission. Gifts are channeled through National Ministries and Regional Ministries to fund home mission education and local community ministries.
One Great Hour of Sharing
May - June
The One Great Hour of Sharing offering is the American Baptist response to worldwide disaster relief and development. One Great Hour of Sharing in cooperation with other denominations is a channel for national and international aid in times of crisis.
One More Child
Mothers Day
One More Child’s mission is to provide Christ-centered services to vulnerable children and struggling families. Whether it’s providing clean diapers to a newborn baby, food for a hungry child, safety for an abused child, or foster or adoptive homes to children in crisis, they work to share with children who have been abandoned, neglected or abused the healing love of Jesus.
World Mission Offering
Sept - Oct
The World Mission is the American Baptist response to the needs of international missions as mandated by the Great Commission in partnership with other National Baptist churches in other countries.
Operation Christmas Child
November
Operation Christmas Child, run by Samaritans Purse is dedicated to bringing the joy of Christmas and Christ to countries that are poverty stricken and in need of hearing the word. Children are given shoe boxes filled with gifts and are taught the love of Christ through a discipleship program. American Baptist continues to fill these shoe boxes for the cause.

The Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering is the American Baptist thank you and response to emergency needs of retired ministers and missionaries, and surviving spouses.
